New Music Here's what we're listening to.
Headlights, a trio from Champaign-Urbana, IL, blends dreamy, surreal pop and chamber experimentation with captivating female-male vocal dynamics. Their new record, Some Racing, Some Stopping, features an evolved sound since their first full length, Kill Them With Kindness. Throughout the album, singers Erin Fein and Tristan Wright prove worthy partners; their bright but ethereal voices flow seamlessly together.

Stripped down, slightly reserved and delicately acoustic, Un Deux Trois, a trio from Chapel Hill, North Carolina, is a departure from frontwoman Heather McEntire's other established project, Bellafea. She has a textured, raspy voice that can sound ethereal, vulnerable and haunting at times. Her voice is featured against a simple instrument setup in Un Deux Trois' latest EP, Lovers.
